Prime Minister Mustafa: Implementation of SAA has yielded positive results in economic development in the country

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, hosted in a meeting the European Parliament delegation headed by Tonino Picula, which is staying in Kosovo to attend the 3rd joint meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for Stabilization and Association of EU-Kosovo.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of European Integration, Mimoza Ahmetaj and Head of EU Office / EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, was discussed Kosovo's progress in various fields, including the results achieved in the implementation of the SAA.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa informed European parliamentarians on the many achievements and reforms being undertaken in Kosovo, with special emphasis on sustainable economic development, the reduction of unemployment, the growth of social welfare, the rule of law and the advancement of the European integration path.
Prime Minister Mustafa also informed on the special focus of the Kosovo Government on fiscal reforms, financial stability and the support of businesses in increasing competitiveness, with a view to making greater use of SAA implementation.
"The implementation of the SAA so far has yielded positive results, but visa liberalization would give a much stronger impetus to economic exchanges with EU countries, eliminating the barriers our entrepreneurs are currently faced with to get visas, in order to make even greater use of the opportunities created by the SAA, "Prime Minister Mustafa said, demanding the support of European parliamentarians in finding alternatives for overcoming this situation.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa also emphasized the commitment of the Government of Kosovo for the advancement of regional economic cooperation and the elimination of all barriers between the countries of the region, expressing Kosovo's full commitment to integration into the European Union and the unique European market, not wasting time in other processes.
Members of the European Parliament delegation from all parliamentary groups were interested in various aspects of developments in Kosovo, highlighting their unanimous support for the SAA since its signing and at the current stages of its implementation.
European parliamentarians also stressed the support for the progress and various reform processes taking place in Kosovo.
